Racer with a polygonal top-down perspective that keeps the core gameplay elements of the 2D version. The “race” mode of the game, which is appropriately named, is where players spend the majority of their time with the game. In this mode, players navigate their little vehicle across tracks built into vast streets, a crazy sci-fi-styled toy room, a barn, and so on, for eight environments, each containing two courses. In total, there are eight different characters. Who will you be, the man in the police uniform who seems angry or the woman in the spacesuit who sounds like a male? It is up to you to decide. Each playable character has a car that corresponds to them. The redneck drives a truck, the copycat of The Crocodile Hunter drives a jeep, and so on. Each ride possesses unique capabilities to the vehicle, which can be toggled on and off.
