The element of stealth plays a significant role in the gameplay, which also places a strong emphasis on light and darkness. The player is strongly encouraged to walk through the shadows whenever possible to maintain their invisibility. The player is provided with night vision and thermal vision goggles, as well as a “light meter” that indicates how visible the player character is to adversaries.
