Burnout is a racing video game with arcade-style gameplay similar to the Test Drive or Need For Speed series of games. You will be racing on real-life streets in this game, which means you will have to cope with real-life traffic.
There are a total of six different racetracks to choose from, with three of them having an American flavor and the other three having a European flavor. There is a diverse selection of automobiles available, ranging from subcompact cars to pickup trucks. They are not, however, based on any actual manufacturers or models of automobiles.
The “Burn Meter” is an important component in the Burnout video game series. The Burn Meter is a gauge that is filled by engaging in risky stunts such as racing into oncoming traffic or power-drifting around curves. Other examples of risky stunts include jumping curbs and driving through fire. When the Burn Meter reaches its maximum level, your vehicle will receive a significant increase in speed. In the event that you do crash, the Burn Meter will be reset, and you will need to load it again in order to attain a boost.
