Time has passed into the 22nd century. A devilish Gear, which is one of a species of future diabolical weapons, was just defeated in a fighting tournament, and as a result, peace has just been restored to the globe. We have noticed that yet another formidable Gear has manifested independent will. Even the people who made it are powerless to stop it from existing.
