Maximo vs. Army of Zin

The events of this game continue the plot begun in Maximo: Ghosts to Glory, in which the protagonist, Maximo, is looking for his lost love, Sophia. When we last saw him, Grim was by his side (a Grim Reaper). Unfortunately, during this time, a series of mechanical creatures begin attacking settlements and killing people there. This causes their search to be stopped. These monsters are part of the Army of Zin, an ancient army that is said to be powered by lost souls and to have been imprisoned in the vault of Castle Hawkmoor following the conclusion of the most recent conflict with them some five hundred years ago. Nevertheless, due to the deeds of the shadowy warlord Lord Bane, they are no longer imprisoned.
