LAB Rats developed the sports-themed video game Strike Force Bowling, released in 2004. Enlight Software’s history of video game production includes removing the title Fast Lanes Bowling. The two games are incredibly similar; they share the same physics engine and graphics. Strike Force, however, offered additional locations and bowlers who bowled left-handed and with a reverse hook. LAB Rats assisted in the development of Brunswick Circuit Pro Bowling, and as a result, both games use the same physics engine.
Nevertheless, LAB Rats’ game features a more fantastical take on the bowling action. Strike Force has 8 playable characters and 14 bowling alleys to choose from (12 of which are Fast Lanes). Even though there are only seven locales, each includes a “nighttime” variation that can be played as a hidden stage once it is unlocked. In addition to that, it has modes of Golf, Challenges, Skins, and Tournaments. Fourteen bowling balls can be used, some level-specific, such as the Bone Crasher and the Pharaoh’s Magic, and others, such as the Lightning.
