It is possible to consider WWE All Stars the successor to the arcade game WWF Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game. There is a mode in the game called Path Of Champions, in which players select a WWE Legend or Superstar and work their way up through the ranks to become either the WWE Champion, the World Heavyweight Champion, or the WWE Tag Team Champions.
