The first James Bond game to be released on the PlayStation 2, GameCube, and Xbox is 007: Agent Under Fire. The game puts the player as the famed James Bond, who must complete missions worldwide. Bond is dispatched to save Zoe Nightshade, a CIA spy in Nigel Bloch’s hands. Nigel Bloch is the CEO of Identicon, a division of Malprave Industries, a highly successful industry company. Bond is also entrusted with retrieving the DNA samples in Identicon’s possession. So James Bond embarks on yet another adventure… The game combines three game styles into one package: first-person shooter, which is what most missions are; rail-shooter, in which the player simply controls firing; and driving game, in which the player guides one of the various Bond automobiles. Numerous weapons, including fictitious weapons like the Photon cannon and the 5-way grenade launcher, have been added to the series. The player can use several gadgets and weaponry, such as the Q-Claw, Q-Decoder, and Bond’s trusty Walther revolver. There is a wide range of tasks, and Bond can approach most of them with weaponry or stealthily. In addition, the player gets ranked in each level based on their score and difficulty level, and they can unlock new features for both single and multiplayer play.
