Gauntlet: Dark Legacy

Gauntlet: Dark Legacy is the latest hack-and-slash action game in the Gauntlet series following Legends. As in all Gauntlet games, you play a medieval fantasy character who, with allies, if you have them, fights hordes of terrible creatures for riches and possibly an ultimate goal. Gauntlet: Legends, Dark Legacy, and bonus levels are included in this version. The great Warrior, lethal Valkyrie, quick-footed Archer, powerful Wizard, spellcasting Sorceress, stalwart Knight, heroic Dwarf, and chaotic Jester are the eight characters. Both game protagonists look and act differently, despite their similarities. These characters unlock eight alternate modes and dozens of secret characters. A multi-tap can be played by up to four people, with rules limiting their injuries. Unlike the original Gauntlets, you’ll face levels in woods, mountains, and volcanic plains. Series fans will recognize many monsters, but some are new, including some massive foes.
