Avatar: The Last Airbender

Avatar: The Last Airbender is an animated television series that chronicles the adventures of a group of kids living in an Asian-inspired fantasy world where the nations have been divided up according to the four traditional elements: air, water, earth, and fire. The series is based on the same name as the animated television program that aired under the same name. People who can exert control over a single element are known as benders and can be found in every nation. It is the responsibility of the Avatar, a person who possesses mastery over all four parts, to maintain peace and harmony among the four kingdoms. Nevertheless, one hundred years before, the Avatar had vanished, making it possible for the Fire Nation to begin a war of conquest throughout the world. The new Avatar, Aang, who was originally an Airbender (hence the series name), was discovered at the show’s beginning. Now, he must travel the world, learning to bend all four elements and fight against the Fire Nation alongside his friends Katara (a Waterbender of the Water Tribe) and Sokka (her older brother).
