Def Jam artists and underground wrestling are explored in this Electronic Arts product. It features Ludacris, Redman, D.M.X., Scarface, Ghostface Killa, and Method Man as playable characters in 3D. A.K.I. created Def Jam Vendetta, following W.W.F. No Mercy and WCW/NWO Revenge. The 45 playable characters have 1,500 animations each. One mode has a soap opera-style plot with suplexes and body slams, and players can compete in 10 arenas. Single, Tag-Team, Handicap, and Battle Royale matches can have four players. E.A. combines Aki’s skillful game design with Def Jam Records’ raucous hip-hop characters. These efforts produced Def Jam Vendetta, a strange mix that may appeal to diehard gamers and casual players. The game features 12 Def Jam artists, including Redman, Method Man, Ludacris, D.M.X., and N.O.R.E. As you play, you will unlock all 45 playable characters, more settings, girls, and concept art.
