The 2005 video game Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is based on the film. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, J. K. Rowling’s fourth Harry Potter novel, inspired the film. Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley are the film’s main characters, and the game features a new spell-casting engine for collaborative spells. Characters now resemble their film counterparts. It looks better than previous Harry Potter games. However, the fourth game’s gameplay is more action-oriented.
Players can also team up to boost their magic and spells. Accio can capture moving beans and boost power with collectors, beasts, and character cards. No RPG version exists, unlike previous releases.
Unlike the last sequels, you couldn’t “run around” the castle and grounds like in earlier games. Some levels are locked until the player gets enough Triwizard Shields. It was the last GameCube and Xbox Harry Potter game and the first to receive an E10+ rating in North America.
