British developer Argonaut Software’s 3D platform game I-Ninja stars an original character. Players control a daring young ninja through five themed indoor and outdoor sections. I-Ninja wears a blue costume with a matching hooded mask that covers his watermelon-shaped head, revealing only his eyes and expressive brow to players. The figure jumps from platform to platform, sprints up walls and ramps, hops on a barrel to cross small ledges, and avoids hazards while slicing at enemies with two katana blades. Bosses and villains appear in the air, sea, and land with shurikens, swords, blowguns, rocket launchers, homing missiles, and other weapons. Players will fight a 150-foot robot in their robot fighter. Master O-Dor and his Ranx foot troops are the endgame. The game’s cartoonish animations set it apart from other platformers—action-packed I-Ninja. I-Ninja has spent years perfecting his skills and weapons. An ultra-cool ninja with a great attitude plays intense sports. I-Ninja can climb skyscrapers, “shred” on extreme rails, hover with a “sword copter,” ride drifting roller spheres, and use manga-style ninja maneuvers to navigate dynamic terrain.
