Next Level Games developed NHL Hitz Pro, which Midway Games distributed. NHL Hitz’s third and final game. PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube, and Xbox released it on September 25, 2003. This game has 5-on-5 gameplay instead of 3-on-3 like the other editions. The game remains an arcade-style hockey game without penalty shots. As the name implies, it involves many short-hitting and appeals to casual hockey fans rather than dedicated ones. Tim Kitzrow[1] and Harry Teinowitz commentate, and Nicklas Lidström is the cover athlete. NHL Hitz Pro has the IIHF license to use Olympic hockey jerseys, unlike many other 21st-century hockey games. The “Pick-Up Hockey” mode is popular, which turns the game into a roller, street, or pond hockey match between two amateur teams.
