The player assumes the character of Oscar, a quick-witted tiny fish who becomes an improbable hero after deciding to take the path of least resistance to fame and money by fighting with his shark companion. Once the game has begun, players will embark on more than 25 unique missions that are set in their favorite movie-based settings, including environments that are unique to the game itself. Shark Tale features a wide variety of interactive activities, such as an adventure mode, action/fighting sequences, race challenges, and music sequences similar to those found in Dance Dance Revolution.
