Spyro: A Hero’s Tail is the original Spyro series’s ninth and fifth console game. It was the first game in the series for Xbox and the second for PlayStation 2 and GameCube (with the Xbox release being the only one to support widescreen). Eurocom created the game. It also concludes the home console Spyro storyline. The game features Spyro the Dragon, Sparx, Hunter the Cheetah, Sgt. Byrd, the flying penguin, and Mole Blink. They fight Red, a Dragon Elder exiled years before the game’s events. Red is the game’s new enemy. Red was fired as a Dragon Elder years before the game.
