Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six 3

Rainbow responds to a series of terrorist attacks on US interests in South America, which appear to be carried out by Saudi-sponsored Islamic militants. However, the underlying architect behind the attacks is Venezuela’s freshly elected President, Juan Crespo. Crespo was elected by advocating a solid anti-terror agenda and capitalizing on the panic generated by the terrorist attacks (which he engineered). Crespo’s goal is to defame Saudi Arabia, then cut off Venezuela’s oil supply to the US, causing an oil crisis and raising the oil price, which he would then sell to the US on the illicit market at exorbitant prices. Rainbow foils Crespo’s intentions and eventually assassinates President Crespo himself. Rainbow then arranges for the terrorists to be blamed for Crespo’s death in the international media.
