The very first Castlevania fighting game, Castlevania Judgment, is currently being created exclusively for the Wii. Castlevania Judgment, created by famed Castlevania series producer Koji “Iga” Igarashi, connects the past and present by pitting many generations of the Belmont clan against a variety of figures from the franchise’s 22-year history.
Players can pick sides in an epic struggle of good versus evil using recognizable Castlevania characters created by renowned manga artist Takeshi Obata in 3D locations recreated on the Wii. Players can slice, stab, and whip their way through a number of stages and environmental components using the motion-sensing controls of the Nunchuk and Wii Remote and a range of nearby objects as weapons. In an epic battle, certain characters can also lay traps and employ the field’s monsters to their advantage. As an added bonus, players can link up with Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia on the Nintendo DS utilizing the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to engage in head-to-head competition and unlock more gameplay.
