Very few publishers had a reputation as terrible as Phoenix Games. Everything points to the fact that they have ceased operations. Still, until very recently, they were very active in their mission to deliver hastily developed games to the European market. They stocked store shelves with inexpensive games for personal computers, PlayStation 2, and Nintendo Wii/DS systems. When discussing Sony’s platform, it is impossible to ignore the impression that a surprise in mediocrity is always concealed inside each of those sparkling blue boxes with relatively well-designed packaging. This is something that cannot be avoided. One of the three first-person shooters developed by the firm and made available for the PlayStation 2, Guerrilla Strike stays true to this overarching theme (the other two entries are Shadow of Ganymede and the extremely rare Ocean Commander).
