The racing video game Speed Kings is played in an arcade-like format. The race takes place across 22 distinct levels, during which the player must avoid getting hit by vehicles driven by civilians and compete against five computer-controlled opponents. There are six different game modes, including single race, time attack, trick attack, head-to-head, grand Prix, meets, and tag. Each of these modes allows you to utilize one of the 22 non-licensed motorcycles that are fashioned after their real-world counterparts (multiplayer-only). As they make their way through the game, players will gain respect points, which will allow them to unlock additional bikes.
During the course of the race, the participant is tasked with filling up the powerband meter in order to activate nitro boosts. This can be accomplished by crashing into the sides of opposing vehicles, executing stunts like wheelies, handstands, and large leaps, or sliding underneath 18-wheelers. It’s also possible to engage in Road Rash-style combat with other riders.
