This is a strategy card game, just like the majority of the other Yu-Gi-Oh! video game adaptations. The battles of the game are fought on a 7×7 table, and each player is in charge of a “Deck Leader.” This character serves as both the representation of the player character’s hit point and the central square on the map around which cards can be put. Monsters can be moved across the board in any direction, with the objective being to encircle and eliminate the opponent’s Deck Leader as quickly as possible. There are also a variety of field bonuses and card fusions available to use.
