The game is centered on rapper 50 Cent. The co-character players can be one of 3 main G-Unit members: Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks, or DJ Whoo Kid, each of whom specializes in a distinct combat tactic. The co-player is controlled by the game or by internet cooperative play. The game takes place in an urban warzone in an unidentified Middle Eastern country, where 50 Cent and G-Unit are hired to perform at a rap concert.
Anwar, the event promoter, cannot pay them the US $10 million in cash he promised after the show but relents after being intimidated. Instead of the cash they were promised, he offers them a diamond-and-pearl encrusted human skull as collateral (which has a strong resemblance to a platinum cast diamond-encrusted skull by artist Damien Hirst). A paramilitary squad led by the terrorist Kamal immediately steals this. 50 Cent (with the assistance of a handpicked G-Unit partner) intends to reclaim it at whatever cost, and they quickly discover that there is a much stronger foe than Kamal. He kills Kamal, Anwar, and his adversaries in the video game and retrieves his skull.
