Aquanaut’s Holiday: Hidden Memories

The game’s true story mode can be compared to an adventure game. The main – unidentified – character is a journalist looking for missing oceanographer William “Bill” Graber. You search the oceans for clues using a submarine nicknamed the Dolphin No.2. The game takes place in the Polynesian atoll of Kisira. Kisira Base, an oceanographic research center, is the beginning point and where you always return supplies (such as batteries for sonar navigation buoys) and equipment. Jessica Porter, a youthful and dreamy scientist, and Robert Kemelman, a conservative leader, work at the facility. Both, in their own way, assist you in solving puzzles. Jessica believes in fairytales and legends, whereas Robert usually has a scientific answer. All of the new fish, animals and other findings are entered into a database. Some fish can communicate, and the player must repeat the sounds generated by the fish using the Sixaxis controller’s four trigger buttons. At all times, the map’s unlocked area is free to explore as you like.
