The capacity of video games to represent power is one of their greatest strengths. The business almost never fails in its effort to give you ridiculous strength, whether you’re controlling a superhero or a regular guy with regenerative health. However, even if strong antagonists are nothing new, practically all would be defeated by the omniscience of the Lord, God.
Although Babel Rising is an intriguing game, it never quite reaches the top of its motivational tower. The concept is undermined by a lackluster single-player campaign and shoddy presentation, and while the multiplayer provides some replayability and is cleverly integrated, it is insufficient to save the shaky structure from eventually crumbling.
