The gameplay is centered on three of the most important hacking mini-games from Thieves in Time; however, these mini-games have been masterfully redesigned from the ground up for the downloadable application. In order to pack more of a punch into the digital version, Sanzaru Games has designed entirely new stages, each of which features a variety of different goals as well as innovative visual techniques.
