Comix Zone

A downloadable version of the Genesis/MegaDrive game from 1995. Sketch Turner is a New York City-based artist. A great rainstorm strikes one day when Sketch is drawing, and a bolt of lightning strikes Sketch’s artwork, bringing it to life. Mortus is the image of a megalomaniacal mutant who wishes to become real and control the world. Mortus mysteriously takes Sketch into the pages of his comic book, allowing him to kill his creator and become real. Sketch encounters General Alissa Cyan inside the comic book, who believes he is a superhero who has come to redeem their post-apocalyptic planet from the evil brought forth by Mortus’ hand. Sketch must now save the comic book world and return to his own.
