Dead to Rights: Retribution is an original novel that depicts crucial events that shape and define Jack Slate’s character, such as how he and Shadow first team up as companions against those who would bring the once-great metropolis to its knees. Dead to Rights: Retribution introduces a new hybrid combat system, allowing players to wield the full combat capability of a highly trained, furious law-enforcement officer.

With the game’s new ranged combat features, use your sidearm to pick off foes from a distance, take cover and blind-fire, or push the issue by taking human shields, stealing weapons with special disarm moves, or giving out Jack’s own harsh brand of justice with devastating takedown moves. Jack is as lethal in close-quarters combat, providing players with branching melee combinations, counterattacks, and disarms as they take the fight to Grant City’s criminal element. In the dirty slums and foreboding alleys of Grant City, Jack will face a slew of merciless gangs, each with their own set of powers and combat style that will put his will to break their homicidal stranglehold to the test.
