Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess

The Nightmare Princess is the sequel to the game Deception IV: Blood Ties, which centered on a dishonest piece of the devil’s soul named Laegrinna. In that game, Laegrinna had to decide which of three ways to humiliate, torment, or kill her enemies in order to win through deception. The Nightmare Princess follows in its footsteps. In this new installment, players not only relive Laegrinna’s entire quest to free the Devil, her father, from his eternal prison, but they are also introduced to an entirely new character who is devilishly sadistic and infernally mischievous. That character’s name is Velguirie, and he is the source of all of the game’s trouble. The events surrounding Velguirie’s past are shrouded in enigma, and in order for the player to learn the truth about her, they will have to complete all one hundred of the tasks available in the game’s brand new Quest Mode. The only thing that can be said for certain about Velguirie is that she is an extremely dangerous creature. She derives an immense amount of satisfaction from taking great pains to construct elaborately intricate webs of traps for the purpose of luring her prey to an untimely and, from her point of view, highly entertaining end.
