Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City are stand-alone collections of episodes from the 2008 video game Grand Theft Auto IV. It was developed by Rockstar North and released by Rockstar Games, and it included both The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony on a single disc. [2] It was published on 29 October 2009 for the Xbox 360 alongside the DLC release of The Ballad of Gay Tony and on 13 April 2010 for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 3 alongside the DLC releases of both packs.
Unlike the downloadable versions, the compilation does not require a copy of Grand Theft Auto IV to play, nor does it require an Xbox Live or PlayStation Network account (except for multiplayer). The content is also played directly off the disc, rather than being placed on a hard drive, as has been the case with previous disc-based expansions for Xbox 360 titles. Three new in-game radio stations — Vice City FM, RamJam FM, and Self-Actualization FM – are available exclusively on the Episodes from Liberty City CD. [4]
