As you climb the criminal ladder, you’ll have to deal with other gangs and crooked cops. Five years ago, Carl Johnson escaped the constraints of life in Los Santos, San Andreas, a city torn apart by gang violence, narcotics, and corruption. Where movie stars and the wealthy try to dodge drug dealers and gangbangers.
It’s now the early 1990s. Carl has to return home. His mother has been slain, his family has disintegrated, and his boyhood buddies are all on the verge of disaster. When he returns to the neighborhood, he is falsely accused of homicide by a couple of crooked cops. CJ is forced to embark on a trip that will take him throughout the entire state of San Andreas to save his family and gain control of the streets.
