John Woo Presents Stranglehold

Stranglehold, directed by John Woo, starring martial arts icon Chow Yun-Fat as Inspector Tequila, a detective in Hong Kong’s police department who travels the world in quest of his stolen daughter. The game includes a single-player story mode in which players take on the role of Tequila and fight their way through locations like Hong Kong and Chicago to find the missing youngster who is being held hostage by mafia members and criminals. Players can collect style points by doing things like sprinting up banisters while shooting, and once they have enough points, they can perform maneuvers like the “Tequila Bomb” or enter “Tequila Time.” “Tequila Time” is a firefight scene in which adversaries are slowed down, but players keep their speed, making it simpler to hit enemy targets. Up to eight people can participate in multiplayer action over the Internet, and the game’s landscapes are fully destructible and interactive.
