The arcade kart racing game ModNation Racers’ successor, LittleBigPlanet Karting, is now directly based on the LittleBigPlanet series of video games. LittleBigPlanet Karting is a kart racing game. The user has the option of racing against human competitors or computer-controlled adversaries across a variety of different tracks and venues. The game can support up to four players on a single console or up to eight players online.
During a race to weaken enemies, players can pick up a variety of weaponry and power-ups like homing missiles, mines, or grenades, much like they can in other similar games. Waypoint Races, Treasure Hunts, and Battle Mode are some gameplay options available. Most of the features available in the first LittleBigPlanet games have been ported over, including grasping and bouncing.
A story mode may be experienced in a two-player or four-player co-op setting. The story takes place after the events of LittleBigPlanet 2, and the Hoard are currently hatching a conspiracy to steal the rewards from the Craftverse. The player, playing as Sackboy, must now compete in several throughout seven distinct planets over the stolen treasures. Developing individualized race courses and distributing them to the community is possible.
