Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor

Shadow of Mordor is an action-packed RPG based on J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. The game casts players in Talion, a valiant ranger whose family is slaughtered before him the night Sauron and his army return to Mordor – just moments before his life is taken. Talion, resurrected by a Spirit of Vengeance and endowed with Wraith abilities, sets out into Mordor to destroy those who have wronged him. Talion discovers the truth about the Spirit that drives him, learns the origins of the Rings of Power, and eventually confronts his true nemesis through his vendetta. Every enemy that players face is a distinct individual with their personality, strengths, and weaknesses. Through the Nemesis System, player actions and decisions shape enemy relationships and characteristics to create personal archenemies that remember and adapt to the player and are unique to each gameplay session. Gamers can develop battles, enemies, and rewards within a dynamic world that remembers and adapts to their choices, providing each player a unique experience.
