MLB 14: The Show

Sony Computer Entertainment is responsible for developing and publishing the Major League Baseball video game MLB 14: The Show. The MLB: The Show franchise has reached its eighth installment with this game. The game was initially scheduled to be published for the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Vita on November 4, 2013; however, it was delayed until April 1, 2014. On May 6, 2014, the version for the PlayStation 4 was made available. Miguel Cabrera, who plays first base for the Detroit Tigers, is the featured athlete on the magazine cover. Brett Lawrie, third baseman for the Toronto Blue Jays, is featured on the surface of the Canada entry, making it distinct from the bodies of the previous two entries. Matt Vasgersian, Eric Karros, and Steve Lyons called the action during the play-by-play. Mike Carlucci is back in his role as the Public Address Announcer. Sony announced in March 2015 that the game’s support for multiplayer would be discontinued on June 18 of that same year.
