NBA 2K10 is a basketball video game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. The game is based on the National Basketball Association (NBA), a professional basketball league in the United States. It was made available for purchase on Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and PSP on October 6, 2009, and it was made available for purchase on Windows on October 12, 2009. It was made available on Wii in North America on November 9, 2009. On November 27, it was made available to the public across Europe. Kobe Bryant is featured on the box art for the video game. Although NBA 2K3 was released for the GameCube, this game is the first NBA 2K title to appear on a Nintendo console. It is also the first NBA 2K game released for the PSP and Wii. The Wii version is an available port of the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, incorporating all of the modes (both online and offline) that are available in the current-generation iterations.
Nevertheless, the Wii version includes controls and nuances unique to that version. The PlayStation 2 has been “ported” to the PlayStation Portable (PSP). However, it does not include support for online play. The video game featured cameo appearances from artists such as Kanye West, Twista, Pitbull, The Game, and Asher Roth.
