2K Sports’ NBA 2K14 is the latest entry in the long-running video game franchise and is based on the 2013-2014 NBA season. This mode allows you to communicate with your agent and general manager, including cutscenes written just for the way. Throughout the season, you will have multiple opportunities to make your own choices, such as determining whether or not you would like to switch agents or which sponsor you prefer to represent. Your overall performance will pick how many Virtual Coins (VC) you receive at the end of each game. After obtaining these coins, you can spend them on a variety of items, such as enhancing your character’s capabilities or purchasing new clothes and accessories.
The newest mode for managing franchises is called MyGM mode. If you are the general manager of an NBA team, you get to make all of the decisions that your team will implement to reach the league’s pinnacle. The state of your organization can be significantly improved by having dialogues with your owners, your players, and members of the press. These interactions go a long way toward achieving this goal. It is very crucial how you respond to questions asked by the media; if you lie to them, your credibility will suffer, and this could ultimately result in your being fired. You are in charge of nearly all aspects of the organization, including player contract negotiations, free agent signings, and even the prices of tickets and meals.
The MyTeam feature will be available again as a fantasy sports-style game mode. You can construct a squad using player cards obtained from booster packs or purchased with virtual currency (VC). You can develop a name for your team, a location, and a logo. Your party can be taken online to compete against other groups, and the results of those matches can be viewed on a leaderboard in real time.
You can steer the career of cover athlete LeBron James as he competes for many NBA championships in a mode called “LeBron: Path to Greatness,” which is only available on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows game versions. This mode is specific to those three platforms.
