The player is supposed to have increased control if they use the Skill Stick. Guard the puck, take passes without breaking stride, and uncover a plethora of tasty new dekes—all with an easy-to-understand control scheme centered on the right stick. Throughout the game, Doc Emrick, Eddie Olczyk, and analyst Ray Ferraro are on hand to provide play-by-play and commentary on the action taking place on the field.
