R-Type Dimensions

The original R-Type and its sequel, R-Type II, are now available on the PlayStation Network. Battle your way through all 14 Bydo-infested stages using either dated 2D graphics or modern 3D visuals; you may switch between the two at any time with the push of a button “on the fly.” The brand-new 3D graphics are backed by completely reworked arrangements of the R-Type soundtrack tracks that have stood the test of time! The traditional game play has not been changed, but a new game mode called “Infinite” enables players to make uninterrupted progress from the beginning of the game to the game’s final boss. The Bydo will not be able to hide from you this time! Both the single-player and the local multiplayer game types can be played simultaneously. Bring yourselves together, save the planet, and destroy the evil Bydo empire!
