Rise of the Argonauts

In Rise of the Argonauts, the player takes on the role of Jason, a Greek king. Jason’s bride, Alceme, is murdered, and Jason avenges her by killing the murderer. He entombs her body in the temple where they were to marry, which becomes her mausoleum. After that, Jason realizes that the only way to resurrect his wife is to obtain the Golden Fleece, which can bring the dead back to life. When Jason travels to Delphi, the Oracle tells him that the only way to find the Golden Fleece is to find three descendants of three of his patron gods: Hermes, Ares, and Athena. Hermes’ descendants can be found in Saria, Athena in Kythra, and Ares in Mycenae. After persuading them all to join him, Jason returns to Delphi and discovers that the Fleece is in Tartarus, the Hell of the Greek Underworld. Jason returns home to resurrect Alceme after obtaining it. He confronts his treacherous uncle, Pelias. Throughout the game, Jason will face Black Tongues, the assassins of Alceme, Ionian mercenaries, mythical beasts, and other characters, but he will not be alone.
