The official videogame series accompanying the Superbike World Championship has reached its seventh installment with the release of SBK X, modeled after the 2009 season. This iteration of the game includes all of the official Superbike class tracks, riders, motorcycles, and sessions and adds the Supersport and Superstock 1000 classes to the mix. In addition, a whole new function called Evolving Track has been included. Due to this technique, the racetrack “rubbers” over time, which reveals the optimal trajectories and gives the player a more excellent grip on the track. The method is also effective for races held in the rain. This section of the course dries up far quicker than the rest of the way, which keeps the player on his toes by presenting him with ever-shifting challenges.

At the beginning of the game, the player has the option of selecting either the Arcade Mode or the Simulation Mode to take advantage of the newly added features:* Arcade Mode: In this mode, you are free to perform wheelies and break off beyond the game’s restrictions without worrying about falling off. The Story Mode is the heart of the game. It begins with the player competing in the Superstock 1000. As he earns reputation points, he will gradually move up the ranks until he competes in the World Superbike Championship, and accomplishing the objectives during a race results in accumulating reputation points. Because of this, the races don’t typically begin where they’re supposed to. Instead, the player must, for example, start at the 14th position and make it up to the 10th spot in just two rounds.

In the Simulation Mode, everything is geared toward representing the real world, even in the most basic settings. The main focus is on the career path. The player begins their journey once more in the Superstock 1000 class and has eight seasons to work their way up to the Superbike World Championship. But instead of having challenges and chapters, this is the real deal, with complete races (including qualifying and warm-up), a very delicate control scheme, and dozens of different methods to adjust the settings on the motorcycle best to suit the requirements of the course and the player.
In both game modes, the player must personalize their rider by selecting their appearance, attire, and preferred method of riding. Both game modes also include several different quick-play choices. A multiplayer option also supports up to 16 riders and includes time trials, rapid races, and personalized single and team championships.
