Steins; Gate is an interactive visual novel that has won multiple awards and is set in a science-fiction universe that features time travel. It was developed by 5pb and Nitroplus. A group of young researchers made the astounding discovery that they can change the past by sending text messages through a microwave that has been modified. Their experiments inevitably go out of hand as they become engaged in a mystery about SERN, the corporation that is rumored to be behind failed attempts at time travel, and John Titor, a strange internet forum member who claims to be from a dystopian future. Steins; Gate is a visual novel that has received much recognition from the gaming community. It can be played multiple times due to its compelling story, fascinating cast of characters, and superb art design.
