The Beatles: Rock Band has been given the utmost attention to detail, which is gloriously obvious from the game’s opening. The graphics are excellent, perfectly reflecting the performance and the band members’ likenesses. The dreamlike imagery used in the Sgt. Pepper era is a suitable complement to a band that has a strong creative bent. In “Octopus’ Garden,” watching the band dive from the security of the Abbey Road studios to the ocean’s bottom is a tremendous pleasure and proof that the game has been treated with true vigor.
