The Darkness II is a sequel to the critically praised release from 2007, The Darkness, and offers an original story written by famed comic writer Paul Jenkins. The Darkness was released in 2007.

Two years have passed since Jackie Estacado, who is now the Don of the Franchetti criminal family, employed The Darkness to eliminate the individuals responsible for the death of his lover. Since he bottled up his magical ability, he has not been able to get the memory of Jenny’s death out of his head, and now The Darkness is trying to break free.

An unexpected and unprovoked attempt on Jackie’s life signals the beginning of a full-scale mob war, which is evidently being coordinated by some other entity. The failed attempt paves the way for The Darkness to make a comeback and sends Jackie on a journey to hell and beyond as he tries to understand the motives behind the attack and The Darkness itself. The failed attempt opens the door for The Darkness to make a comeback.

Principal Attributes:

An innovative take on the first-person shooter genre, “Quad-Wielding Chaos” allows players to simultaneously fire weapons while also using the Demon Arms to slash, seize, and hurl both objects and adversaries.

Kill the Lights: Brutal, flesh-eviscerating supernatural powers can only be activated when there is no light present; hence, it is advantageous to either create shadows or turn off the lights.

Intense and intimate story written particularly for the game by legendary comic book author Paul Jenkins, whose other works include The Incredible Hulk, Wolverine, and Hellblazer. Gripping Interactive Storytelling:

Distinctive Graphic-Noir Design: The shading and color of graphic novels, mixed with the dramatic lighting of film noir, give the impression that you are reading a graphic novel as you are playing the game.

Participate in the cooperative campaign as one of four distinct characters, each of whom is able to wield weapons imbued with the powers of the darkness.

Top Cow’s original comic book series serves as the basis for this movie.
