The Godfather II

The plot of the Godfather II video game extends beyond that of the movie by placing players in the underworld of organized crime in the 1960s in New York, Florida, and Cuba. After being elevated to Don of New York by Michael Corleone, players move on to other cities and continue to build up their families by monopolizing crime rings, extorting businesses, and defeating other families to become the most powerful mob family in the United States. This quest begins when players are promoted to Don of New York. “The Don’s View” is an ingenious strategy meta-game introduced in The Godfather II to assist players in managing their empires. This game allows players to watch the entire world while expanding the family enterprise. Players will be able to construct, fortify, and extend their criminal organizations with the assistance of the Don’s View, all while keeping track of the activities and strategies of their adversarial family. In addition, players will learn how to master the business side of organized crime as they construct a family of Made Men, recruit crew, issue orders, and promote their best men up the ranks.
