The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel

Trails of Cold Steel is the first game in the series on Erebonian soil. It occurs on the same continent as Nihon Falcom’s fan-favorite Trails in the Sky spin-off of their legendary The Legend of Heroes franchise. Trails of Cold Steel is also the first game in the series to explore the internal political conflicts of this oft-mentioned powerhouse nation in detail. The game features a story that can be played on its own but also delves into the expansive lore that has come to be associated with the series. Players can experience school life and form bonds with other students to earn new combat abilities, take advantage of quick, tactical turn-based combat with the newly developed “ARCUS” system, and uncover dramatic events that have the potential to change everything that these two opposing social classes stand for.
