Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 12: The Masters

The Tiger Woods PGA Tour “2012” edition is the first in the long-running golf series to feature a virtual recreation of the famous Augusta National Golf Club and allow players to compete for the coveted green jacket. The PlayStation 3 version of the game is also the first to support the PlayStation Move accessory, allowing players to use one-to-one motion control to take their swings. The new “Tiger at the Masters” mode in the game recreates each of Woods’ four Masters victories and challenges players to match (or beat!) his scores. Another 23 virtual versions of real-life courses, including St. Andrews, The Royal Melbourne, and Pebble Beach, are included in the game. A computer-controlled caddie is available at each hole in the tournament to provide situational advice on strategy, shot selection, and green-reading. Many of the series’ other signature features include a career mode in which players can create their character and guide them to the PGA Tour. Players can play as or against more than 20 professional golfers in other ways. PGA Tour 12 also features a new broadcast-style presentation with Jim Nantz and David Feherty providing commentary.
