Turok

First-person shooter Turok was initially released in February 2008 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It was developed by Propaganda Games and published by Touchstone Games and Disney Interactive Studios. After that, in April of 2008, it was adapted to run on Microsoft Windows. The Xbox 360 would receive a sequel that was well in the planning and development stages when Microsoft decided to scrap the project before it was formally announced. The game has no connection to the narrative or settings of any of the other Turok video games, and it is only tangentially based on the comic book series that shares the same name. The player takes on the character of Joseph Turok, a Native American space marine who is part of a crew that has been dispatched to a distant planet to catch General Roland Kane, who was once his commanding officer but now is now a wanted war criminal. Following his crash landing, Turok learns that numerous species of dinosaurs inhabit the planet he is on. To succeed in his quest to bring down his former mentor, Kane, Turok is forced to battle the dangerous dinosaurs and Kane’s army.
