A mysterious mastermind known as Calypso rules over the competition of vehicle-fighting known as Twisted Metal from the penthouse office of the building where he resides. He is again back to preside over the glorious competition of talent and devastation. Those selected to compete will have the opportunity to win a reward of their choosing if they emerge a winner of the competition. Now available solely for the PlayStation 3 system, the Twisted Metal series is the longest PlayStation franchise operating. In a high-octane, highly destructible universe, players put themselves in the combat boots of a deranged disciple as four different factions fight for control of the globe. Participants compete to have one of their wishes granted by the cunningly nefarious Calypso, the brain behind the Twisted Metal competition. Disciples use vehicles armed with weapons of Warped devastation to execute well-planned assaults on opposing forces. Players can unleash destruction with up to 16 other players through PlayStation Network and engage in battle across many fan-favorites and new game modes thanks to the solid online system.
