Valkyria Chronicles

The events of Valkyria Chronicles take place on a made-up continent reminiscent of Europe in the 1930s and is divided in half and ruled by the Federation and the Empire, respectively. The Empire has its sights set on invading a small country known as Gallia, located in the center of the two mighty empires and is neutral territory. A hero named Welkin and his fellow troops of the Federation’s 7th Platoon are the protagonists of this video game. They are engaged in combat against the Empire, which is working toward consolidating the continent under its control. The Valkyria are an ancient species with exceptional abilities that were considered to exist only in stories until the Federation discovered that the Empire possessed a hidden weapon known as the “Valkyria.” As a result of this latest finding, the possibility of a brighter future and the Federation’s capacity to emerge victorious from the conflict are both in jeopardy. The BLiTZ (Battle of Live Tactical Zone) System is an acronym that stands for: The BLiTZ battle system allows you to battle with direct control in action sequences just like in action games maneuvering through the vast world with strategic moves that are typical of tactical RPGs. This is made possible by the game’s combination of gameplay elements from turn-based RPGs and third-person action games. The player takes turns during the conflict, going from the Player to Enemy phases.
