Warriors Orochi 3

Warriors Orochi 3 is the third game in the series and the follow-up to Warriors Orochi 2. After defeating Orochi, the land experienced a period of peace. The appearance of a Hydra abruptly shatters that peace. Warriors from various worlds come together to create the Hydra, but only three survive. Sima Zhao, Ma Chao, and Hanbei Takenaka set out to travel back in time with the help of the mystic Kaguya to save their fallen comrades and form an army against the new threat. Beginning with only four characters, the player sets out to gather warriors by changing the outcomes of various battles. Characters from the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors series and a few from Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive make up the cast. Before each stage, the player selects three warriors. In battle, these characters can swap places to fight hordes of enemy soldiers and officers, gaining experience and gems until the victory conditions are met. Weapons and items can also be obtained during combat. Between battles, the player is returned to the camp, where he can purchase and customize weapons, bond characters, equip characters, and distribute growth points to raise the character’s level. Discussions between specific warriors will unlock new stages or an alternate “Redux” version of a previously cleared battle if certain conditions are met.
